The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), a professional organization, serves the geoscience community with timely events, helpful information, and networking opportunities. The society needed to enhance their web presence as part of their 5 year business strategy to provide value to its members. SEG had made previous attempts mostly focused on content management.
Our approach was a comprehensive engagement beginning with web strategy, member portal, content development, implementation, and post implementation support.
IMG faced challenges in bringing stakeholders together with a rotating change of ownership over the years, making it hard to compile and consolidate previous content. The existing technology framework and hosting did not support the enhanced vision.
IMG proposed and implemented a holistic content management strategy and developed on and offshore teams with qualified analysts & technologist who could create digital timelines and convert the web strategy into a cost effective model. Result was an enhanced User Experience and better organized content, all at a reasonable cost.
